Designed as a premium precision rimfire trainer, this .22LR platform delivers the balance, feel, and repeatability of a full-scale competition rifle while maintaining the economy and accessibility of rimfire shooting. Built around elite-level components and tuned for consistency, the RX 03-1 is equally at home on the bench, in positional stages, or stretching subsonic rounds to distances most shooters never expect from a rimfire platform.

At the core of the build is the renowned Zermatt Arms RimX action — widely respected for bringing centerfire-style performance to the rimfire world. The controlled-round-feed design and exceptionally smooth bolt operation create a refined shooting experience that feels deliberate, precise, and repeatable.

The rifle is fitted with a 23-inch Benchmark Barrels heavy-contour barrel featuring a 1:15 twist and massive 1.20″ profile. The result is outstanding rigidity, thermal stability, and shot-to-shot consistency. Whether shooting tight groups at 50 yards or engaging steel well beyond typical rimfire distances, the barrel delivers predictable performance with match-grade precision.

Trigger control comes from the industry-leading TriggerTech Diamond trigger, adjustable from an ultra-light 4 ounces up to 32 ounces. The break is crisp, clean, and glass-like — allowing disciplined shooters to maximize precision while maintaining total confidence in every shot.

The entire system is housed in the MDT Sporting Goods Premier Gen II chassis finished in Charcoal Green. Equipped with a bag rider, forend weight system, and buttstock dampers, the rifle tracks exceptionally well and remains stable through recoil and positional transitions. The ergonomics are purpose-built for serious precision shooters who demand adaptability from prone, barricades, or supported positions.

Topping the package is the Arken Optics EP-5 5-25×56 optic with a 34mm tube, first focal plane reticle, and illuminated MIL-based VHR reticle — providing the clarity and adjustment range needed to maximize the rifle’s long-range rimfire capability.
