The BR 05-1 “X-Ring Authority” is a purpose-built rimfire benchrest rifle crafted to deliver uncompromising precision, flawless repeatability, and match-grade performance at the highest level of competitive shooting. Built around the elite PQP 2500X action by Dan Killough, this rifle was designed for shooters who demand absolute consistency from every component and every trigger press.

At the core of the platform is a premium MullerWorks .920 straight contour barrel chambered in .22LR, optimized for exceptional harmonics and predictable shot-to-shot performance.

Paired with a fully adjustable and lockable tuner system, the BR 05-1 allows precise tuning from 0–500, giving competitors the ability to fine-tune rifle behavior for changing conditions and ammunition lots with surgical accuracy. The anodized aluminum tuner features high-visibility black numbering and threaded accessory compatibility for expanded customization.

The PQP Trident action features a smooth-running dual-lug RB-LP bolt system with a 90-degree throw engineered for reliability, rigidity, and effortless cycling under match pressure. An integrated 20 MOA Picatinny rail provides a rock-solid optics platform while maximizing elevation adjustment capability for precision rimfire applications.

Trigger performance comes from the renowned TriggerTech Diamond, offering an ultra-crisp and fully adjustable pull range from 4–32 ounces. Every break is clean, predictable, and competition-ready—allowing the shooter to remain completely connected to the rifle without disturbance to sight picture or follow-through.

The rifle is housed in a handcrafted Precision WoodCraft stock designed specifically for the 2500X platform. The elegant finish delivers timeless benchrest styling while maintaining the balance, tracking characteristics, and ergonomics demanded by serious precision shooters.

Completing the package is the legendary Nightforce Benchrest 12-42×56 optic featuring a 30mm tube and illuminated 2DD reticle.
